Carl E. Jackson, MD

Dr. Jackson brings more than 33 years of experience as a general surgeon, providing comprehensive care that includes advanced laparoscopic procedures, colonoscopies, hernia repairs, gallbladder surgery, mastectomies, thyroid and parathyroid operations, upper GI endoscopies, and vascular access surgery for dialysis and cancer patients. He began his career in chemical engineering, but after working in industry, he realized his true calling was in healthcare and transitioned to medical school, where he found his passion for surgery.

He centers his practice on listening and working closely with patients to understand their concerns, recommend appropriate screenings, and support long‑term health with evidence‑based guidance.

Outside the operating room, Dr. Jackson enjoys tennis, jazz music, movies, and reading. He also has an interest in French and Spanish — though he admits Google Translate is still his most fluent second language.
