Kaitlin Sweeney, M.D., MD

Dr. Kaitlin Sweeney is an Emergency Medicine physician at SageWest Riverton. She first became interested in medicine while accompanying her mom to her younger brother’s many medical appointments, where she saw firsthand how meaningful compassionate care can be.

She completed her MD at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and her Emergency Medicine residency at John Peter Smith (JPS) Health Network in Fort Worth, Texas. She loves the variety of Emergency Medicine—helping anyone who walks through the door and practicing everything from cardiology to OB to psych in a single shift.

Dr. Sweeney aims to be a supportive, encouraging presence for her patients, with a strong focus on prevention and healthy lifestyle habits. Outside of work, she enjoys nature, animals, and time with friends and family.
