MaleAbout Randy John Folker
Dr. Randy Folker knew early in life that he wanted to become a physician—driven by a genuine desire to help others and a deep curiosity about the human body. Today, as a board‑certified otolaryngologist, he is known for helping patients untangle complicated, long‑standing ENT problems that often leave them feeling frustrated or overlooked. He especially enjoys the pediatric side of ENT, where he can make a lasting impact on children and families.
His practice philosophy blends traditional medical doctoring with open‑minded, alternative strategies. He believes patients deserve a wide range of options and a physician who advocates for them. Over the years, he has increasingly focused on identifying root causes of ENT conditions, recognizing that medications and surgery—while sometimes necessary—are not always curative on their own. When underlying issues are addressed, patients often experience more meaningful and lasting improvement.
Dr. Folker provides full‑spectrum otolaryngology and head and neck surgery, performing more than 240 cases annually. His training includes an MD and pathology fellowship at Oregon Health Sciences University, followed by general surgery and ENT residencies at the University of Texas Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. His expertise spans endoscopic sinus surgery, laryngeal phonosurgery, chronic ear disease, pediatric ENT, facial trauma, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, salivary gland surgery, airway surgery, and head and neck cancer.
Raised in Creswell, Oregon, Dr. Folker is an outdoor enthusiast, a husband, and a father of three. He also offers allergy immunotherapy and audiology services, and brings extensive practice management experience to his work. Patients appreciate his thoughtful, comprehensive approach—and the sense that he is truly on their side.
