Virginia Sargent, FNP

Virginia Sargent, FNP is a dedicated family nurse practitioner serving patients of all ages at SageWest Medical Group's Wind River Clinic in Riverton. She is committed to providing compassionate, personalized care and believes strong patient relationships are the foundation of effective healthcare.

Virginia earned her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner Studies from Mount Marty University and brings a diverse clinical background in family practice, urgent care and emergency medicine. Throughout her career, she has cared for patients in rural communities, where she developed a deep appreciation for the importance of accessible, community-centered healthcare.

Her clinical interests include preventive care, wellness exams, chronic disease management, adolescent healthcare and the treatment of acute illnesses. Virginia enjoys helping individuals and families navigate their healthcare journey through every stage of life, from childhood through adulthood and into their senior years.

Passionate about rural healthcare, Virginia values getting to know her patients beyond their medical histories. She believes understanding a patient's lifestyle, family and community leads to more meaningful and effective care.

Outside of work, Virginia enjoys hiking, fishing, camping, gardening, bird watching, reading and cooking. She and her husband have three children and three dogs, and they enjoy spending time outdoors together as a family.
